Agreement

By downloading or using the Restova app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Restova is provided by Utilab, 60 Rue François-Iᵉʳ, 75008 Paris, France.

What Restova Does

Restova is a photo restoration tool. You choose a photo from your library, Restova processes it (repairing scratches, removing fade, colorizing, and similar operations), and returns the restored result. Results are generated by AI models and may vary in quality depending on the input photo.

Free Tier & Preview

You can restore up to 3 photos for free per device. Free restorations are shown as a 50% before-and-after preview so you can evaluate the result before purchasing. After 3 free restorations, continued use requires an active subscription.

Subscriptions

Restova offers auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock unlimited restorations, full HD quality, no watermarks, and the ability to save and share restored photos.

Prices in other territories are set by Apple based on equivalent local pricing tiers and may differ from the figures above. The exact price is always shown at the point of purchase inside the app.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions can be managed, and auto-renewal can be turned off, by going to iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions after purchase.

Refunds

Restova does not directly handle refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, use Apple's refund flow at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your Photos and Content

You retain full ownership of any photo you upload. You grant Restova the limited right to process the photo on your behalf through our AI image processing provider, solely to produce a restored version for your personal use. We do not use your photos to train AI models or for any purpose beyond returning your restored result.

By submitting a photo, you confirm that you have the right to process it and that doing so does not violate any law or the rights of others.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Restova to:

• Process photos you do not have the right to process
• Create content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Circumvent the free-tier limit or subscription enforcement

We may suspend access if we detect abuse or misuse of the service.

AI Output Disclaimer

Restored photos are generated by AI models. Results are best-effort interpretations, not forensic reconstructions. Colors, details, and faces in the restored output may differ from the original. Do not use Restova output for legal, forensic, medical, or identification purposes.

Service Availability

Restova relies on third-party services (Apple, Replicate, RevenueCat, Cloudflare). We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. If the service is unavailable for an extended period during an active subscription, contact us for assistance.

Liability

Restova is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utilab's liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be highlighted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer, mandatory local consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
